What is a Working Holiday? |
|
The Working Holiday system is based on a
mutual agreement between two countries in
which foreign travelers are able to work
to cover their basic travel costs while experiencing
a new country for a maximum period of one
year. It is also possible to regularly attend
a language school under the Working Holiday
system.

The Working Holiday visa is available to
Japanese citizens who are residing in Japan

Features |

The Working Holiday Visa differs from the tourist visa, the student visa
and the work visa and there are age and destination restrictions. However,
individuals have the freedom of choosing their own itineraries and they
are able to attend a language school or work part-time in order to cover
their basic expenses. Of course, under the Working Holiday Visa, work may
not be the main objective of your travel.
The Working Holiday visa is only granted
once in each participating country, and the
number of Working Holiday visas available
is subject to restriction in some countries.
