A word I came across last year, “glamping”, is becoming more and more popular I believe.
As the weather is warming up, I have already started to think about camping. I absolutely love camping – the traditional way, though. I came across one place in Tokushima with a huge tent, and views that were absolutely stunning. But, it wasn’t for me.
Glamping which is a mixture of ‘glamorous’ and ‘camping’, gives you the advantages of enjoying the great outdoors while being spoiled with modern comforts. I would love to try it someday.
“Gramping” on the other hand is another camping trend. It is when multiple generations (grandparents, parents, and kids) get together at campsites. It is becoming very popular in Australia with families spending quality time together.I would love to try this out someday, too.
